Sven B. Schreiber The excellent avantgarde ensemble "Jaggery" came to my attention with the help of of "Opposition Faust so Far", who bought two of their albums yesterday. The music, mostly written by singer and keyboardist Mali Sastri, with contributions by her brother Raky Sastri, is adventurous and atmospheric, and the occasional harp arrangements give it a nice chamber music feeling. By the way, Mali Sastri is one of the three "Delilahs", starring on Amanda Palmer's "Yes, Virginia...". Favorite track: malachite.
